The Park has a high level of species diversity. Wildlife includes Elephants, Leopards, Buffalo, Waterbuck and several primate species. Preliminary surveys have found at least 235 bird species, and at least 500 butterfly species are present. Whilst seeing some of the larger animals is less common, you are sure to see many butterflies, birds and tracks from animals such as Bushbuck, Duiker and Waterbuck.
The symbol of the Park is the Rock hyrax, which can be observed on some of the rocky slopes, such as at the shrine near Kue.
Enjoy the sights from the game viewing platform at the Laboum campsite, with a chance to observe birds and other animals that come to drink at the dam site.
