The Laboum waterfall is around 25 metres high. Very impressive after the rainy season, but even in the dry season (December-May) it will hold enough water for a nice and refreshing shower. The walk to the higher Upper Fall (1a) is for the more adventurous, who do not mind a short steep climb uphill. Down to the water fall the trail is secured with a rope. For those who prefer it shorter and easier, the walk to the Lower Fall (1b) is recommended, which is a fairly level walk with a few short ups and downs closer to the fall. The Lower Fall is perhaps less impressive but the nice plunge pool is very rewarding. On both walks you are sure to see many butterflies.
